Need help -- and a little advice form the photoshop folks out there...
First off -- this is not your typical PT car. What I have here is a 1973 TVR 2500M. It's your typical 70's British sports car in that it uses parts from other British sports cars, namely Triumph TR6 (motor/trans/diff), some suspension parts from other unnamed Britcars, and trim from a number of other British cars (TR6 taillights, MG marker lights).
But in other aspects it's an atypical British car -- tubular chassis, fiberglass body, 1-piece tilt front end. Also, some of them were built/converted to SBF power. The car is light -- sub 2000 pounds!
I bought this car with the intention of "bolting on the carbs" and autocrossing it, but the fact that the cage that was installed in it (wouldn't pass tech at any event!) and that there wasn't a tight bolt on the car anywhere made me stop thinking of autocross.
Well, the plan is to do a few external mods, nothing too severe, install a C4 front/rear suspension, and go with a V8 (Ford? Chevy?? Whatever will fit???) and 5 speed for power.
I want to lose the bumpers front and rear, go with '68 Camaro taillights, and do "something" with the front end. Anybody with an idea and good photoshop skills is welcome to comment :)
