tko600 break in

How have you guys been breaking in your new tko's. Ive read to use atf for the first 500mi. others say to use synchromesh right from the start.?

Use the synchromesh from the getgo.

Per Tremec tech use GM Syncromesh from the beginning and stay with it - no need to drain and refill.

What about the clutch? My Mcleod says not to get on it completely for the first 500 miles.... Anybody doing this?

Brad, I believe that's just standard break-in. Most clutch companies, as well as brake companies, have a break in time. Most people don't follow those directions, but then again who reads directions?

Brad, I'm ruinning a CF dual friction. I got on mine HARD about 100 feet from where I lowered the jack. Gotta check and make sure it ain't gonna break :icon996:

I'd rather break around the corner from my house than miles away.
