how to repolish a polished intake?

I am going through a small block 35 and wanna clean the intake manifold up and was wondering steps to repolish a already polished intake? any help would be great Brandon

You're talking about the outside of the manifold right? You'll need some polishing rouge, (there are several different grits available), some buffing pads, (all kinds of shapes and sizes available) and something to spin the pads with like a drill or dremel etc...

First question, how bad is the finish?

You will have to determine a starting point for how rough of a grit to get started with and work towards the finest until you end up with using just a polish to buff off.
