Torque arm suspension opinions ?

I have been tossing the idea of a torque arm suspension on my el camino . I was looking at using a 8.8 rear end out of a crown vic and maximum motorsports torque arm for 95 mustang . I am going to narrow rear frame rails for 335/30/19 wheels . I am thinking coilovers from speedway motors . They are very affordable and for circle track use also probably use a watts link . I have the 12 bolt rear end that came in the car but do not want to cut it up . The explorer rear end is also a possibility . Any ideas or advice welcomed . I do not like the factory 4 link .
I have owned 3rd gen camaros and a bunch of mustangs .

The camaro handled well after i built lower adjustable control arms and panhard bar .

Thats a very nice car . The car i have i havent had since i was 15 but its been in the family for 30 years i have reciepts from 1979 . My fiances uncle oriiginally built the car and he wants me to finish it to go on power tour . So when its done we will see you there . hopefully by next year .

You could do a 3-link setup. I did that on my 67 El Camino using a bolt on bracket I made for the rear axle. I have picts of the bracket and how I attached the link to the crossmember as well. If you use a bolt on panhard bracket, then you could use your 12-bolt without modifying it. Email or PM me if you want to see the pictures.

THAT WOULD BE AN EASY DEAL with ours, (Speedtech Perfromance)use our A body lower trailing arms, and a stock 12 bolt. modify the front X member to fit the car and same with the rear and it is a complete set up.
