I've paid from 150.00 to 500.00 entry fee on the East coast depending on the track, group organizing the event, and whether it's a one or two day event with a discount if you sign for both days. Entry level groups with in car instructors usually cost 50-75 a day more to cover the discount they give the instructor on their race fees. So once you can go solo expenses go down. I figured out my expenses going to the tracks over a long time period with some driven to and some where I towed and stayed overnight. I've been averaging total costs right around 1,000.00 per track day not including any expenses other than fuel for the tow vehicle and trailer. It's time for 4 new trailer tires and a battery for the electric brakes.
