Places to see on the West coast?

Hi all, my name is Joe, and I'm about to embark on a roadtrip from up here in British Columbia, Canada down WA and OR coast, eventually ending up in CA.

I'll be on the road from Aug.13 - 29, and I'm curious to hear of any meets/shows/events/races/trackdays etc to check out, as well as any shops that might want to open their doors for a follow pro-touring enthusiast to see cool projects...

Well, you are unlimited here in CA. as far scenery but if you are in the SF bay area the weekend of Aug 27-29, you should go the Good Guys West Coast Nationals in Pleasanton.

Hmm...a few of us will be at Thunderhill Racepark in Willows, CA on August 21st. It is a NASA event, you can find them at nasapro-racing.com
