What products have you discovered work for things not intended by the company that made them?

As an example oven cleaner for cleaning greasy parts.

Coke (the cola) for cleaning off battery corrosion.

Windex multi-surface cleaner is a great fluid for cc'ing combustion chambers / ports.
Oven Cleaner also works well for removing some anodized coatings.
Pantyhose makes a good emergency replacement for a V-belt.

Kaboom, one of those Billy Mays cleaners, removed all the anodizing in my bathroom shower! Form gold to bare aluminum. That was not my intention!

Taco Bell hot sauce will take the oldest, nastiest penny and make it shine like new. It's pretty amazing. I imagine this could work in other applications.

Oxyclean will get blood stains off of white t-shirts. That stuff will take out ANY stain.

i copied this from my post on LG.

with some minor sanding a master bearing race installer doubles as a LSx cam bearing installer. it worked better than my cam bearing installer.

i did find out that a pickle fork does not work as the name inplys but does work good on balljoints

this snap on (bluepoint) hand vacuum doubles as a cannon if you take the bag off.

Leather belt to remove oil filter, its not as messy as hammering a screwdriver through it!

You do realize that the term drag racing has nothing to do with wearing women's clothes, right? I mean, if it makes you happy, I guess there are no rules against it....
