Lovin life right now....though it doesn't even qualify as "preseason" the Cowboys are back on TV each week!

I've missed the clash of shoulder pads these many months of tall people throwing a big orange thing and boring people swing a stick (yes, that was a hit at both golf and baseball!)

Football may be back, but I'm on the other side of the fence on this one. I get to spend the next 5 months having to pretend to listen to and make bs conversation with folks about football games, football teams, football players, football politics, and football business when I couldn't care less. And it will be EVERYWHERE! It will be on the tv, the radio, the internet, it take up far too much time on the news, it will displace or postpone shows I prefer to watch, and I won't be able to visit my family without suffering through a retelling of game plays from the last 2 weeks.

Yep... football is back...

Ditto X2, after living in Ohio and hearing Ohio State, Ohio State, Ohio State and having to avoid Ohio State parties with Dumb a$$ fans in scarlet and grey I can't wait for spring when football is over and I can roll out my car.

I never realized it until I moved away for a few years, but we talk about it all year long. I had a few friends that moved up from Florida a few years back and they were pretty big UF football fans and even one of them made the comment that "it's June and all that is on the radio and local sports has to do with Alabama football." It is all I have known. So, when people say that it is "back" I have a hard time wrapping my head around it.

I agree College Football talk never ends in the SEC and a few other areas of the country, recruiting, spring camp, the season etc. and if there is a slow down its time to debate those blown calls, past seasons, and what the new guys can do.

1 more month until kickoff!! Should be an interesting season.

Also no I don't keep up with the NFL. I'd have a hard telling you where most college players were drafted last year.

Heck yes, I am ready for football! My team isnt very good (broncos), but I am still ready to start watching the games again!
I like both college and pro and will usually even go to a couple local high school games during the season.

I know, I know, but we have got to be better this year without Jamarcus.

There is always hope.

Well, I'm not a "football" fan. I am a Cowboys fan. It ws born into me in 1977 when I was born in Dallas, TX and have lived here my entire life (minus 4 in the Corps). I couldn't care less about the rest of the NFL--just the Cowboys.

America's most loved and hated team!

Around my house we are baseball or nothing here unless it involves an engine. My kids play select ball almost year round and I coach them and play softball. We are not looking forward to the football season. My wife says it's football already. Guess that means more time in the shop with the cars come football season.
