how to cleaning up a grimey Edelbrock Performer Carb????Help

I was wondering if anyone would have tips to clean up a Edelbrock Performer Carb it has very little shine and I wanna bring it back correctly. Thanks for the help.

I found bowling them down the driveway to be very effective...

Okay that didn't help but the shine is a coating and once it's gone the next best thing is to take it to a fine wire wheel.

You can try that but I have a fine wire wheel on an arbor and elec motor.

a dremel with a variable speed will do the work.
