It was our pleasure and I really enjoyed writing the story. Since I handle the tech stuff I only write car features for cars and people I really dig. Like yours.
And lots of members are in this issue, like Albert's second gen and the killer '69 built by Alan Johnson.
Also, lots of west coast members in the good guys coverage.
My car even snuck in there a couple of times.
Enjoy the ink and congrats on having a killer ride.

I love the Sunoco Twist Camaro ..
It was great to see it run at RTTH's last year too.
That car is done exactly right .( Maximum performance for the budget dollar)
I think it got into the top 5 at the RTTH's autocross last year ??
Good job Jason !
Anything with a Donohue/ Penske tribute theme is right up my alley .
Thanks for keeping the Donohue/Penske memories alive .

Fred, It was my pleasure shooting you car. It was a marathon shoot with 3 cars back to back, but it's a very cool ride. Hope you are enjoying. it. Looked great in the book.

.
It placed 6th but made the top 5 when I was asked to give up my spot.
Still, for a "budget" ride on leaf springs it certainly handled well. It also seems like a car you could just hop in and drive across country.

Awesome car Fred...Thanks for letting us build your dream car .
I must say the car is amazing with a stock frame and leafsprings.
On our way to Tenn. the engine in my dually blew up and we unloaded the car and drove it to Tenn. and then home . We got 28 mpg on the way home..
Thanks Steve, Nick and Robert for making this all happen .
