That's cool, (no pun intended). Did you drive around the track with the a/c blowing, tunes blaring, and a big gulp in one hand? You would be ridiculous. Ridiculous, but awesome in my book.

I'll second the thank god for AC, the 73 cutlass does not have it right now and it sucks, but my truck does. :)

watched the neighbors dad come over in his "check book" 69/70 Mach 1 they were going to a car show, yesterday I think the heat index in Orlando was 106, they had a nice 1 hour ride with no a/c, I laughed when I was told, ya, my mom bitches all the way there and back, I'm glad my car will have air!!!

ha ha that is quite the picture in my head. Its funny. When in the staging lane on the track I'm super hot and uncomfortable but from the moment I'm waved onto the track until I pull off I couldn't tell you if I was hot or cold with all that adrenaline pumping and concentrating on driving :)
I know some guys on this site skip AC just to save weight but unless its only a track car or you don't get out in hot weather it just isn't worth it to me.

What's an ac? Is that an after charger, or accelerator condenser??

It was 65 degrees at my house yesterday. But living in this coastal weather all my life makes me melt when I get to hot places.

Your telling me. I'm sure part of it was the difference in time but when we hit Long Beach on the way home yesterday it was low 60's. My house has no AC and I don't mind but I wouldn't want a car without it if i can help it :)

High Desert + Jeep with a hardtop + no A/C = no use during the day.

I can drive on slicks 350 days a year without issue, and there's almost no such thing as rust, but my shoes can occasionally melt to the asphalt if I stand in one place too long, bit of a tradeoff.
