Curious to see what you got. When I say slightly off PT I mean the newer more unusual PT projects; cars that don't have the go fast goodies of the newer muscle (new GTs, 4th gen F-bodies, etc) but the "inbetweeners". For instance, mine is a 91 Thunderbird.

Started life as regular 3.8 LX model, now featuring the complete drivetrain from a '89 5spd SuperCoupe. PBR caliper swap up front with caliper relocation brackets and Cobra rear rotors. 99 GT rollers right after the PBR swap in the pictures but I have a set of deep dish Bullitts that should be here tomorrow that will be mounted on 245/45 and 275/40 rubber. Cut SuperCoupe springs, SensaTracs up front (no coin for Koni's at the time), Cobra convertible shocks in the back (OE Bilstein units) putting power through a FMS Carbon disc LSD (surprisingly tight). Drivetrain is unfortunately all stock but will be soon subject to a few goodies and exhaust not to mention the obvious body/paint work.

Anyone else? 240 Volvos, Datsun/Nissan Z-cars, ect?

Nice I always wanted to do same style in a Cougar.
Also dont forget it shares some pieces with Mustangs and Air Ride can be made super easy.
Air Ride can make the rear suspension literally unbeatable it has adjusters for both camber and toe, links can be replicated with more adjustment and stiffer.
To stiffen ride get rear sub bushings made in polyurethane/Delrin/etc.
any up grades for 8.8 fit the 8.8 centers and they swap in place of 7.5(weak knee center when it breaks it explodes) but I believe you need the axles also, d oyour research.

I'll have to get pics of my neighbors tube frame racer that runs a similar year body as yours... He's giving it the maiden run this weekend somewhere in Kalifornia... To give you an idea how this thing looks, it has 14" rubber under each fender....

It's already got all the goodies from the SuperCoupe (springs, sway bar, rear discs, 8.8 etc) so as far as factory upgrades it's ready to roll. Have 3.8 Mustang TEMs ready to go on but have to finish up my Suburban before I can start the exhaust on it.

Anymore progress on the 240? There used to be tons of them running around here but kinda all disappeared. I think widebody would be cool. :D

Maybe so but it's going to be sweet. I have that same problem.

Meant to post these earlier but supermotors never works half the time.

275s on 10.5s and 245s on 17x9s and not quite wide enough; tire is stretched over the rim. The rim lip are outside of the rim protectors on the tires. Had a feeling I should have done the 275/315 combo instead.

Rogue,
Your car always makes me want to get a N600 my friend has sitting around and put a Honda bike engine in it for a slightly off build...
