We plan on going. We go to Bowling Green for the NMRA world finals then head over to Biloxi right after. We (the wife and kids) have gone the last three years and have a blast every time. We take my wifes 06 Mustang convert and my daughters 93 LX 5.0l convert. I will also be taking my T-bucket this fall. We have the week booked at the motel 6 with a bunch of other people from our local Ford and Mustang club.

For an all around huge selection of cars and trucks I would highly recommend it.

I'll be there. Im making my own Pro-Touring Event out of it. Im doing Lone Star Goodguys the weekend before, then making the long cruise to Biloxi, Drag Race on Saturday night, then cruise back home. I just need to get the car back together.

Biloxi is always a blast.

Where is the drag strip located? 1/8 or 1/4 mi? Is it saturday night only? I'm in on the drag racing. I went to the mobile dragway 1/8 mi while on the power tour. Stickiest track I'd even been to. I'm hoping its 1/4 mile :)

No you can just go to the track and pay. You wont be able to get into any of the cruise / show areas unless you register. It is 50.00 now till Aug 15th then after that you have to register at the show and it is 75.00.

Your better off registering, plus it depends on what car you bring also to be excepted.

If you preregister you get a participant T- Shirt too.

I've often wondered what you get out of registering. Is all you get is the opportunity to show your car AKA (primo parking space at the shows)

You had better get there early for a primo parking space. The place is packed and friday and saturday afternoon / night cruisin down Hwy 90 is packed.

I wish they would only let the old cars cruise Hwy 90 but all the spectators are cruisin also.

They also close all the cross sections on the road and if you need to do a U-turn you will have to do it at a light.

No kidding. We usually stay at the Isle of Capri. Getting to and from that casino and the Cruise areas takes lots of time.

From the Interstate

The Gulfport Dragway is off of Canal Street. If you are on I-10 going West, it is the first exit past (west of) the Interstate 10 / Hwy 49 exit. Canal exit has the Flying J on the South side of I-10 and a Love's on the North side. You will want to go South on Canal St. I would say about 2 miles. You will see the sign on the left side of the road.

From the Beach

If you are coming from the beach, go North on Hwy 49 to 28th Street and turn Left (west). There is a big gas station on the west side of Hwy 49/28th St. and an O'Reilly's on the East side of 49 and 28th St.

Continue on 28th Street to the second stop light, that is Canal, turn Right. You can only go North because Canal goes right into the Navy base at 28th. The drags are about 1 mile up on the right.

Sorry if I made any of that confusing. I used to be stationed on the Navy base and know my way around that neck of the woods. From the interstate is a smoother ride. 28th is kind of a crappy road. I wrecked a bike on 28th too. I don't like that road, LOL.

ProStreet,

Looks like you like to hang out on the west end of CTC! I recognize that gas station. It's in Pass Christian. I used to live not to far away from there behind one of those big mansion off of Hwy 90 before Katrina. If you're there again this year and you like little nightspots then try Shaggy's. It is a bar at the Pass Christian Harbor that is on stilts. Great place to have a bear and look at the cute little things. Drink responsibly.

I recognize the pic at the Bay St, Louis train depot too. I lived just up the street from that place for the last two and a half years. That is a great place and I recommend any who wants to spend a slow and easy Southern afternoon under the shade of massive Live Oaks to come to the historic Bay St. Louis train depot. It isn't for the fast crowd. Bay St. Luois is the farthes west CTC goes. Come on down. Bay St. Louis is the best small town on the entire Gulf Coast.

I live there and I should be there in time. I'm out of the US right now though.

The 'cuda is in Oklahoma at Muscle Rodz, too bad.

If anyone needs advice or have questions about any part of the Mississippi Gulf Coast just PM me fomy cell. We can meet up or you can take me for a cruise because my car's down. I haven't driven or ridden in anything except military vehicles for the last 7 months!

Well we are here. Rolled in from the NMRA world finals in Bowling Green Sunday night. We hit the Long Beach parade yesterday and there was over 600 cars there.

Our registration number is over 3800 plus they have 4000 pre registered cars. This should be a pretty good year.
