I will say that the housing market is hit really hard in that area, you can get a lot of house for your money right now.

I loved going to Ojai when I was stationed at Port Hueneme, CA. It is a sport biker's or canyon carvers dream up there.
Can't tell you any leads but I'm sure they will love the area no matter what house they find.

If they can afford it have them look a little further west towards Ventura, Oxnard or Camirillo area, it's much cooler there and your closer to the ocean.
