Hi everyone!

Okay so you just installed this new engine/trans combo into some cool car you are building, now you need to wire up everything. You plan on reusing some wires and adding new ones here and there, where are you going to shop at for terminals, connectors, and wire? What type of wire do you prefer? (GPT, GXL, SXL, TXL or w/e)

So far I did some online shopping for relays, terminals, and relay sockets at www.mouser.com (http://www.mouser.com). I spent a few hours staring at everything before I made a decision. They were fast at delivering. I was pretty satisfied.

Just looking for some options, opinions, and experiences.

I ordered my wire from McMaster Carr. It is PVC coated and rated at 600V. I dont have any with me to see what the insulation number is.

I used wiring, relays, fusible links and connectors from M.A.D. enterprises.

Web site does not do justice, call and speak to the owner. Call when you have some free time, he will spend at least 30 - 40 minutes educating you. Depending on what you are wiring will designate the type of wire insulation, which he does take into consideration. His major focus is reducing voltage drop especially when re-wiring older vehicles which tend to not have relays.

Good luck,
