View Full Version : Problem with Hotchkis rear bar hitting shocks on Mopar b-body

I`m posting this for a buddy of mine who has a 68 coronet r/t and has installed a Hotchkis rear sway bar on his car but it interferes with whis shocks anyone know of anything about this problem?

Yea they wanna see pics,we posted it here also to see if anyone else with a B-body has the same problem.

Tell him he is doing it wrong. He needs to move the bar more under the diff. Tell him to adjust it with weight on the wheels.

Tell him to adjust it with weight on the wheels.You might be on to something....Some of the rear bars hit the diff cover on Camaros when the suspension is hanging in full droop......set it back on the ground and it clears just fine.

100% correct. When my stuff is at full droop, the bar sits on the diff cover.

Here are some pics of before we moved the sway bar more torwards the front of the car and how it sits now,let me know what you guys think,its a wack ass design i think,he should`ve bought a Hellwig bar,it sits forward like all sway bars not that backswards s@#t.
