I realised that I will have to make a new trans tunnel since the rear end came so high up in the body that the drive shaft won't fit.
Tried to search the forums for a little inspiration, but the project threads are just too long to g through...
Anyone have any pics of modified sheet metal trans tunnels?

Here's some old stuff from II Much. All made from sheet metal, a $90 bead roller and lots of trial and error.

Tom, how low is the ride height of your A body that you had to make those modifications? What year is your car?
Edit: Never mind, found your build thread. Nice work!
Thanks,
Don

I had to do the same thing in our Olds. After I "C" notched the frame the driveline hit just about everywhere. Here are some pictures of it all.

I used a slip roll and bead roll from Woodward Fab.

The tunnel was fabbed all the way to the rear housing.

thanks for all pictures and ideas!
It turned out that the roller which I could use didn't roll with small enough radius, so I had to bend the sheet metal instead.
And I also realised that it's probably a better idea to fab the tunnel when the drive train is installed (which means that the body must come down from the rotisserie first).
