I assume a 1/8" spacer would need to be made out of steel, instead of aluminum. The smallest that I found so far was 1/4"

Do you have any machine shops in your area? I drew up my spacers in solid works and sent the model out to be cut. They're only 3mm thick which is really close to 1/8.

Something else I didn't think of until now...
My spacers were a little unique because my wheel bore center was slightly larger than that of my axles. It was similar to an adapter, however it bolted through.

You may run into issues if you're using the same axle/wheel bore. Since the axle lip (for lack of a better term) is wider than the 1/8" you would end up with something similar to this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WHEEL-SPACERS-4-5-LUG-UNIVERSAL-1-8-THICK-BRAND-NEW-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem20b232fadfQQitemZ14042 8638943QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccesso ries)
