I ran my first track day this weekend. After everything got warmed up my power steering pump would blow out a little fluid any time I got near 6000 rpm. It is a late model GM pump also running a hydroboost. I have a small cooler in line. What is causing this and how do I fix it? A little fluid on the headers makes a big smoke cloud.

What tank are you useing.. Remote? brand? Baffled? Im thinking it is foaming the fluid because of poor baffling.

The tank is mounted on the pump.

When you say late late model pump, do you mean TC, CB, P, ???? All are still in use today.

Uhhhh, I guess I don't know. It is the same one that is on my 99 5.3 Silverado.

So it's a cast-iron pump, round, with a pressed steel reservoir. Similar to what was used originally. That's a P-pump.

Try a search on dry P-pump. Something should show up.
