View Full Version : LS1 front caliper wheel clearance

Ok, I was going with IROC wheels, but I don't think they'll clear with this bracket:

But I'm not using a C5 caliper, so I assume this will work with an LS1 caliper? But I'll still get the larger rotor from the C5? Am I correct so far?

So I decided I run SS 10 spoke wheels...

Crude Photoshop, but it works.

These wheels are 17x9 all around and came stock on 2002 SS's.

I'm fairly sure they'll clear for this setup, but it couldn't hurt to ask :)

yes the will clear the 17" for sure. im not running the kore3 brackets but some i made they dont look as big as those and im only running 16" rims and have no clearance problems with the lsi calipers

I have C5's on the front of mine & I had to grind off the fins from the calipers to clear my 17" Bonspeeds. I wasnt expecting that, but the LS1's seem to have more clearance.
