1971 Ford Torino Lowering the front end

Has any buddy lowered the front end of there Torino by cutting the coil springs or buying new three inch drop springs. I just picked up a set of 2 inch lowering blocks for the back. Just trying to make it look better for the rest of summer.

I put 2" drop springs in mine, but my old springs must have been wrong or something because the front can still drop a good 2-3" in my opinion.

One way to lower the front end is to do the Shelby mod.

Whats the Shelby mod ? I'm trying to get lowered spindles for my 78 Thunderbird . I could use stock car 2 or 3 inch dropped spindles but I want to keep my 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern . Any thoughts ?

Great information where did your get your springs and what is the Shelby mod. I am new too Pro-Touring cars I have been into hotrods. And need to get up to speed!

The Shelby drop is a modification of where the upper control arm bolts to the shock tower. Here's a link specific to Torinos:
