Do I need, or should I go with the Walbro ones? I need a pump to fit in a Grand National sending unit.

Walbro is a very good pump. Just choose the appropriate pump to suit your power requirements.

You might want to check a GN forum and find out if there are any fitment problems when adapting a standard Walbro pump. If so they my have better information on another pump, i.e. ACDelco, that might be easier to fit.

X2 on racetronix and Walbro. Buy from a good vendor versus an ebay special as there have been some bad runs of Walbros and possible chinese copies that have given us trouble with premature failure. Racetronix is a good vendor, fast shipping and good prices. Nothing special on the mounts. We run the single walbro down to low 11 second quarters in the typical 3700 pound Buick, and switch to dual intank pumps with the second triggered off a boost switch when the cars run 10 and faster.

X3 on the Racetronix set up. I used thier Walbro 255 lt./Impala SS kit when I converted my Grand Am to EFI using a late model Impala gas tank. Very good quality componets and wiring harness.

I agree with all on the walbro and racetronix... I also bought their hotwire kit and installed. My battery is in the trunk.
