Fear of El Caminos

Now, first of all, I just want to say that mental heath problems aren't funny.

But this just cracked me up. I saw this when it aired on A&E with my girlfriend and we have been "wiping off" the El Camino whenever we see one.

My good friend used to work in a home for the mentally handicapped. One of them would yell out "Blue Chevy Truck, Blue Chevy Truck". He loved Blue Chevy Trucks. He asked me one day to bring over my '03 Arrival Blue Metallic Silverado. The guy was in love. My friend became his favorite caregiver after that.

I saw the episode on A&E.....the show brought in a woman health care specialist to help the guy and you could tell she had no clue what an "El Camino" even was, that was funny.....like you said the guys condition its not really funny....On the other hand his reaction in the vid before he had any treatment was kinda funny......(it was the 78 or whatever it was in the vid and it was the second Elco he saw that day so in his mind he was going to have extra bad luck and the whole day was just a total disaster)....Elco's were his biggest but not his only phobia....his brother in law was another one....tough way to go through life no question

If I was his therapist, I'd tell him that you can't actually wipe it off. You have to punch your "buddy" Russ in the face to get rid of it. After about a 10 hour episode of "getting rid of the el camino" that way, I'm sure his buddy Russ will have learned not to fack with people who have compulsive disorders.
