What do you all think of this color? BMW Carbon Black Metallic.

My friend has that color on their BMW. looks black on the shaded side and blue in the direct light.

Friend had a BMW in that color. It's not bad. Make sure you're OK with the "color changing" long term. Some people love it, others don't. It's a personal thing.

back in 97' I had a M3 that was cosmos black. It was a metallic black

It's rare to see that much blue in it. Maybe in direct sun of under bright lights. It's much more subtle.

That's more like it. Most folks thought my car was black. In fact, everyone thought it was black. I'll dig up the photos of mine.

stripes on my car are painted that color. i love it.

it looks black MOST of the time, until you get in some really direct sunlight.

thanks everyone. I think I am going for it. It definitely is more black in person than blue.....I've been thinking about this color for 6 years. I still like it. I really hope it looks good on the car.

you can always ad a little extra pearl if you want to flop it over to a blue/more purple tone..

I'm still struggling with a color...I 99% sure I want some sort of blue.....The other idea is black with red. here is the original color too, just for kicks.

I would agree a dark blue for your car is needed ! But if your open to other shades of blue and like BMW colors go with the best blue ever made ... Laguna Seca Blue with dark wheels. A friend of mine has 04 M3 and when were at car show that color attracts people like bears to honey ! Its hard to find a pic that show how much this color pops !

that's a great color. I love it...but I feel it's a little "loud" for the amount of area it will cover.

I think real dark blue looks lovely in metallic.

I can't stand metallic black though. It just doesn't work for me.

pretty sure that is Avus Blue, not black at all. Carbon Black is like a dull sort of black almost

The bright blue above is M3 specific and called Laguna Seca blue....one of my all-time favs
