I am at a crossroads with the car. Currently the car is hugger orange with white Z28 stripes. Originally it was garnet red with black hockey sticks. I am really undecided on what do do with the color. The current paint job is a 10 footer that is great for driving the car, but really not show worthy at all and is over 20 years old. With this paint job I don't have to worry about chips or any kind of stuff like that. I have seen several cars in Garnet red but it seems to vary a lot from example to example. I think the red/black stripes would pop against the white houndstooth interior for sure. Thoughts and opinions?

hm on the pics the car looks good as it is! :twothumbs but garnet red with the black also looks very cool! I think its up to you if you the time/money/hands to do the bodywork and the repaint..

Too funny, mine was originally garnet red and has been orange with white stripes for the last 20 years. Was gonna go back to garnet red with matt black hood and gran touring stripes with all black rims but the kids wouldn't let me. Bought the new black rims and everything. Luckily a friend of mine picked up the rims.

I like the BMW Imola Red it is a darker like the Garnet Red but would be a change from the GM colors and pop with those Fikses.

I also prefer the hockey stick stripes with the SS hoods as IMO it is hard for the Ralley/Z28 Stripes to flow with the stacks.

If you enjoy driving the car, I would not do a thing. Perfect paint jobs are a pain.
