My Dad is selling some of is Franklin Mint cars that he bought 20-25 years ago. This particular one he was offered $90 for
if he ended the auction early. I told him...DON'T DO IT!!
He owes me a steak dinner for this one. LOL!!!

I get that all the time w/ some vintage bicycle stuff I sold. people always asking me to end stuff early, I never do.

Looks like he had a lot of international interest. I wonder what it would have went for if he had shipped outside the US?

Good call but I have seen it go both ways. I've had stuff I had better offers on than the final bid and just a few months ago I needed a cheap car to get to work because I lost my company car. I found exactly what I was looking for here local $500.00 with no reserve and 5 days to go. I offered $2500.00 to sell it to me right then. He refused to see what it would bring in the auction. It was all I could do to not call and rub it in when it ended at $1900.00. I had already bought another car by that time so it was him that lost out on that one.
