Just curious, is she an F1, 2 or 3?

Yeah they're huge! I just hope she grows into them! If we're lucky she has the "growth" gene and she'll get big!

My wife and I have a MainCoon mix. She will be 15 at the end of the month, she was the runt of the litter and only weighs about 6lbs. She is definetly a member of our family. She slepts in between our two boys rooms at night as their protector, I guess.

My father-in-law hated cats but he has taken to her so much that he says, through the phone "roll over for Papa" and she flops over, it is hilarous.

Enjoy your new kitten.

I took HELLA expensive to mean around $1000-$1500. I just looked up a breeder in Oregon: $3500-$6500 for a female!

I wanted a F1 Savannah, Lisa wanted a Rag Doll. We ended up with 2 rag dolls. He is 14LBS at 6 months, she is 10LBS at 5 1/2 months. He will get to be 28 LBS, she will only get to 22LBS or so.

Very cool cats, Just not quite as macho as the Savannah!

She's a F5 and was a "bargain" at $950.

The breeder has two pair of F2/F5s mating at the moment so in about 7 or 8 weeks we'll check out those kittens. Don't know if we'll get one but I want to look.

For this particular breed because it's so close to the wild side and the F1s and F2s get so big with the wild markings, people are willing to pay big bucks for them.

It's like anything really. It all depends on what it's worth to the buyer. Crager SS wheels or a set of Forgelines.

Hey Chris! The breeder says it's a lottery when it comes to F5s. Most likely she'll grow to the size of a normal house cat but there's always the chance she'll get big. We hope she does but no big deal if she doesn't. We really like her markings and personality!

There are some great You Tube videos of them. Lisa sold me when she showed me this video..........

Here's a few pics of my babies...I HATED cats until I met my now fiancee. Both of these are rescue cats that were hours from being euthanised - the one because no one wanted him and the grey/black because she had a little sneeze.

This is Bear...he is the man. He's an American Bobtail and has tortacolis (sp?) so when he looks up at you his little knoggin is turned...so friggin cute.

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif

And this is Chessie...short for Chesapeake...she's my little baby girl. Ridiculously long tail and a speed demon. She loves her daddy...so much so that she rarely let's me get through a night's sleep without snuggling up to my neck or laying on my stomach meowing...not exactly sure what her breed is though. She's a big talker though...lots of attitude.

Yeah, I woke up with the little girl (Juliet) rubbing on my beard this morning. Soon as she saw a little movement like I was waking up, she was over to help.

It is funny how many "cat hater men" there are. It is like it takes away from their masculinity! Same for little dogs.

Yeah it is funny how many guys "hate" cats. Pound for pound, I'd put my money on a cat any day.

My little one only weighs about 7lbs, but I know she could seriously F up a 7 lb dog!

That is crazy, our 2 Ragdolls have the same father, different mothers. FYI, they get along incredibly. and they do entertain one another. I think that was a good move.

I'm fed up with seeing them.

I went to Classic Le Mans in France last weekend and we saw about 15 Sunbeam tigers lined up next to each other. They were everywhere in Arnage town too. Sound nice, many had the 302 swapped in. Cool.

I'll see if I took pics of the big lineup.

Cute kitten. Lol @ HBO with the ears. I'm sure he'll grow into them. Out malamute was the same, grew the ears first then took 8 months for the rest of him to catch up. lol

Well I originally had a reason to "dislike" cats...hate is obviously too strong a word. When I was growing up my idiot neighbor had a couple cats, but I didn't realize how much he teased them. Anytime I would go over there i would want to play with them they would attack you on sight.

Being young you normally take that as all cats are like that so i just stayed away from them. Enter my fiancee....

She is a veterinary technician so just about every day we come across one to foster or whatnot.

I tink I have fostered 5 cats in this year so far...

i had to leave my cat back in Georgia until I could find a place here in Colorado. I have a place now but have two Huskies for roommates. My cat will have to stay in Ga until I get my own place and am done with training ~10-12 months. i miss my cat. i found her six years ago now at the hog farm at UGA. The manager there hated cats and would have killed her so I kept her.

For what it's worth, she's solid white with medium long white hair that's very lightweight and thin. she has bright normal blue eyes and she's not deaf. She's lazy, not very graceful, and bossy. I miss her.

I am an animal lover no matter what it is but cats are my thing because they are easier to take care of, especially in an apartment. I never could understand the guys that thought cat were unmasculine, cats pound for pound will take a dog out. I had a short haired american tabby that stood down a 120 pound alaskian malmute/ wolf mix, the dog backed down with its tail between its legs. I am currently fostering 3 kittens found at work, 2 need homes, quickly I am in a one bedroom apartment and I want to keep all of them.

I thought Herb bought a GTO.

Had Cats all my life. My sister had one that was born a few days before I was born and died ~ 2 weeks before my 18th Birthday. That cat slept on my bed most nights all my life. To this day I am more a dog person, but have a soft spot for cats. UInfortunately, after leaving my parents house and not being around cats for many years, I have become allergic. Aaaarrggh.

How about a beer drinking cat! Here is a pic of my Boozer taken about 12 years ago! She would then just go stumbling down the hall way and flop.

The sad part is that I just had to bury this awesome cat recently due to Bobcat Fever (cytozoanosis) (one tick bite + $1000 bucks in vet attempts and 5 days later the cat is gone) :(

Very cool cats! I wanted a savanah or bengal but wife hates animals go figure.... so no pets for 10 yrs. Then one day tooling on a project from IKEA in the garage I slipped and gouged my hand on the screwdriver... which i blindly went to throw out the garage door in anger... as I released it I seen the little fella standing there in the doorway. Sure enuff i couldnt of hit him if I tried but damned if the screwdriver handle didnt knock the cat on the head and out he went for a few. I thought I killed him, but he came around and had a little dizziness. Anyways long story short I incurred alot of the wifes wrath but I kept the cat, i had to since I almost killed it.

anyways here is Baxter, and yes hius eye is a bit lazy now and that is my fault :(

Yes if you look close you will notice he is black on black. solid black with some slightly off colored stripes.

Amazing animals. I worked with many servals at a shelter when I was younger. Keep in mind F1 servals can be VERY aggressive for no reason. They still have that wild gene. Typically we never saw them act out, but I got a few to get real rough with me during rough play. I have the scars to prove it. I'd love one but there are too many ways for one to get out of my house and go bird hunting. I'd take it to the dog park and on rides in the camaro.

Congrats on your beautiful animal!

we have a DSH tabby(I think as I do not know how to tell a cats breed other than big, small, short hair or fluffy. If any one can give me an idea that would be great) that my girlfriend found at work when she worked at menards, Tigger. I think he was only 2 maybe 3 months old when we got him, now over a year old. He had a couple health problems, ear mites and an eye infection but those were taken care of with in a week of adopting gim. Hes a goof ball and I love that he greets me at the door like my lab at my moms house.
