On my 69 camaro does anybody know what master cylinder to use with c4 12" rotors in the front and stock drums in the back ? This will remain a manual system and I here about the 88 s10 mc but I havent seen anybody use it with a manual system I would like to have the look of the newer aluminum mc with plastic if possible.

Actually I have the same question, sort of...
I have the C5 - 13" and keeping the rear drums till the fall.

For the C4 calipers in manual mode. Many have tried this, and most didn't have the best results. What you want it a m/c bore size very small. Try to find one with a 7/8" bore, or smaller.
Baer sends a m/c with a 15/16" bore, with their kit that uses the same calipers.
Stock C4 had a 15/16" bore, but used a booster. So I'm not sure how this bore would work very well at all without using a booster.
C5 calipers have a larger piston volume. So I would think a 15/16" bore would work. But I'm sure someone has this combo, and will supply better info.
For the rear drums, an adjustible prop valve can be used.

I tried a 78 Malibu MC, 15/16", in manual mode and gave up and went to hydroboost. Even with aggressive Hawk pads, the effort is too high to comfortably modulate. This is a 13" C4 front/rear drum. Mean69 did alot more experimenting with poor results. Try a search for lots of discussion. I think a 7/8" gave too much pedal travel.

I purcahsed a manual M/C w/ portioning valve from MP brakes to use with My old 4 wheel disc setup. I recently put the c5 conversion on the front and it still works good..

Do you happen to have the part# from MP brakes so I can look into this more through them? Thanks a bunch.
