Thinking seriously about bringing my wife and boys (2 & 6) along so they can see what this hobby is all about and meet some of you that they've heard so much about... thoughts? Who's taking their family?

Ty

My wife and son (9) are coming with me, as well as another couple. We were at PSMC2 and my son seem to like the autocross.

It's a great event. I'm sure he won't be disappointed. It's a good clean event and last yr. there were several kids including my nephews. I brought my wife and she fell in love with it and wanted to help buy some parts for me to be able to autocross this yr. (a great plus)
I'm taking her and my dad with me this yr.

Even if they dont want to go to the auto x, Mainstay has a very nice outdoor pool area.

While it's definitely car related, it's definitely family friendly. If the wife doesn't want to be around the cars, there's plenty to do in town. I'd recommend bringing the family along.

I'm bringing my wife with me; she's going to be driving the El Camino. :)

Pigeon Forge is a number ONE family destination in the South. So much for families to do that you can not do everything in a week. Even if they get burned out on the car deal, they can find plenty to do, shopping, carting, Dollywood, Titanic, Aquarium in Gatlinburg. We even have these hills just south of us called Great Smoky Mountain National Park, which draws 11M people a year...
Look forward to meeting the family Ty.

Which reminds me--if you go to the hot sauce store and you see the little taster section and you see one that looks like a sweet savory BBQ sauce, but for some reason it's off all by itself--THAT'S BECAUSE IT IS ACTUALLY ONE OF THE HOTTEST SAUCES IN THE WORLD.

I drank so much milk that day I developed lactose intolerance.

On topic: If I can corral them all, I hope to bring my sister, girlfriend, and parents--and jc and his fiance, of course.

When I finally make it, next year??? I will be bringing the family. They love car events as much as I do.

I would like to, but my wife and daughter will be bored to tears.
