This guy has spent so much time bashing Lebron James over things, he really gets my blood boiling. Most of his points are irrelevant and he's only out for attention for himself, which is working. If I had an open forum where people listened and cared about what I said, this is what I'd like to say to the man:
An open letter to Adrian Wojnarowski
"I'm not bothering to leave my name because what I say doesn't matter to a person like you.
But I feel the intense need to point out what a lousy, no-talent hypocrite you are.
You continue to rant about Lebron James and how selfish he is and how he exudes drama, etc. etc. but you're a no talent sports writer who is doing nothing more than riding his coat tails to make a name for yourself by constantly bashing him every chance you get.
Where is this "drama" that James has built up? Idiots like you in the media are responsible for all this crap. YOU guys built him up. He has done NOTHING to build up the drama this off season.
He has answered no questions regarding where he will go.
He has held no press conferences or spoken to the media about his free agency since the season ended.
He has appeared on 1! television show, a NEWS program on CNN with Larry King who is so irrelevant in this day and age its pathetic (the man should have retired 10 years ago, does he even OWN a computer) ?
When he did finally show up to a rally, he showed up late and stayed for an hour.
Throughout this whole ordeal he has kept to himself and done everything possible to stay out of the limelight.
So where is the drama?
And yes, he did make the call to appear in a 1 hour special on ESPN to finally announce his intentions regarding his contract, and then DEDICATED all proceeds to a charity.
So he turned all of your media driven crap into a way to help the needy.
But you bash him every chance you get and claim it's all about him.
You're a parasite and a pathetic excuse for a human being.
The one who is all about "ME" is YOU. You are a nobody sports writer who has managed to make it to the front page of a famous web site by bashing James.
Congratulations, you no talent hypocrite."

P.S. I do not think Lebron is perfect in any way, shape, or form, in either his basketball skillset, or his dealings outside of the game, but for someone brought into celebrity and handed everything at the age of 18 (or younger) I think he has done a pretty darn good job of holding himself a professional, despite becoming an icon before the age of 25.
I'm just really tired of seeing this guy's articles on Yahoo's front page. Much of what he's reported has been wrong, like most of the media (including the local Cleveland papers) and yet he's given a soap box in front of an audience of thousands, perhaps millions because of his singular ability to create bad press about Lebron James.

I have no clue who Lebron James is or why I should care what sportwriters say about him -- does he have a cool car?

It's unfortunate, but it's all the writers have now-a-days...
That said, being born and raised in Miami... I can't wait to see the three of them suit up together, outside the Olympics.

if you are pissed and emotional about it the writer has done his job and your letter reinforces this.

If I were a sports writer, I'd write trash on Lebron too. He's overhyped for what he is.

LeBron is hyped for a reason. Watch him play, watch him with an understanding of how to really play the game of basketball, and you know why he is great. MVP great? No, that he hasn't deserved. But he is a great player and the hoopla that surrounds him can make people jealous. I guess this guy wishes SI or ESPN would pick him up, but alas he writes for Yahoo. LeBron wants to find a team that will get him a ring, before he has 1 or 2 years left to play. Look at GAry Peyton, Karl Malone or even Charles Barkeley. Great palyers who never got a ring, and flailed at the end of their careers in pursuit.

Negative ghostrider. That's why I put it in the outhouse. Sorry, but he does OWN a lot of cars. 5 interviews last week, 5 different cars driven to them.

I am born and raised in Cleveland. You may be right. He may leave. I don't think it makes sense for him to leave, but he might. He can get more money here. He is with an owner he knows who will spend money on the team. It is HIS team, not something he will have to defer to Dwayne Wade.
I will not get upset if he leaves, it is his choice and he is doing things within the system as he should. I will not get upset. To be honest I have not liked our roster since he has been drafted here. It has nothing to do with him, and it is not his fault, but I don't think our team has EVER been as good as the writer's say we are, and that's why we can't win in the post season. I have been saying for years we need to fill the hole at shooting guard, but everyone says we need a big man or we can't win a championship.
That's such nonsense. There have been a lot of championships won without a dominant big man. I also don't think Bosh is as good as advertised. I am not sorry to see him not sign here. I like our young player, Hickson. I think he will flourish under Byron Scott. Did Bosh even average 20/10 last year? He is an all star, but make no mistake he is nowhere near the class of Lebron or Wade.
I am not trying to bash your team because you signed Bosh. I am just saying I don't fear your team because you signed him. I think Wade + Bosh is a good team, but not great alone. I think Lebron + Bosh is a good team, but not great alone. You have to build a team around these players and hope that Bosh will be there every night, because I don't really feel he was there in the crunch in Toronto very often. I don't think he made the players around him better. I don't think he was a superstar. An all star, yes, but not someone to inspire greatness. Now Lebron and Wade. That is a team to fear. This is my opinion.

I guess that depends on what you're looking for in an article. I have never understood the appeal myself. I am just frustrated at the success he is having. I don't think people should be rewarded for this.

Which is why I maintain that putting Lebron, Wade, and Bosh on the same team is no more a guarantee of a dynasty, let alone a championship than any other team put on the court.
I think Lebron deserved his MVP's. I didn't agree with Nash getting his. If you break it down.. most valuable player... who does more for the league? Who puts up the best numbers, works the hardest, draws the most fans, makes the NBA great? I think he deserved it when you look at that, and probably the two years Nash won as well. I have never agreed with the sentiment that you have to be on a winning team to be an MVP.
I also think Lebron is a phenomenal player, but I don't have a homer bone in my entire body. There are a lot of things he does that frustrates me. I can't stand the fact that he acts like it is beneath him to play in the post. He would be unstoppable. Big men are too slow to guard him and small men can't handle his size and strength.
I hope that if he does stay in Cleveland, that Byron Scott will be forceful with him and be a coach, not a fan like Mike Brown. I never liked Mike Brown since season 1. I was calling for him to go long before it was considered "popular" to do so. The man would make a hell of an assistant coach, but he is far too clueless on offense, clueless with his rotations, and EXTREMELY clueless in developing players to be a head coach. I really feel he held us back.
Consider the fact that his favorite, Daniel Gibson has done nothing but ride his rookie year success for the last 3 seasons, while Shannon Brown was given away and now is playing very solid ball for a championship team. Where was Hickson in the playoffs last season? He started almost every game for us during the regular season, but when it came playoff time he sat the bench. Why?
I love basketball. I absolutely love it with a passion, but sometimes I just can't even be bothered to watch or read about it because of some of the stuff that goes on, like this idiot's articles, or some of the things my team does.

Well, I guess you were right. We'll have to watch this season and see where this leads. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed, but it won't keep me awake tonight. I don't really agree with his decision. I think he made a lot of promises to Cleveland that he won't keep now. He always said he would bring a championship to Cleveland. I think it would mean more if he won it in his own home town, and with his own team instead of Dwayne Wade's team.
But this is a business. That's how things are now. Loyalty means little. It's the world we live in.
Good luck to you in Miami, and hope that you end up being the Celtics, and not end up being the Rockets.
