Hello everybody!

I'm working on my wife's 1954 GMC pickup that is on an S10 frame (I make kits for this) and is running a 2005 LH6 (GenIV LSx) Displacement on Demand engine with a 4L65E auto trans. This truck is being built as a daily driver with parts availability via wrecking yards, auto parts stores and dealerships. It will tow 4,000lbs and I want it to handle well because my wife is GERMAN. She definitely knows where the gas pedal is!

I am also working on MY 1955 1st series ('54 body style) GMC Suburban. This one is going to be off the hook. 2010 6.2L from an Escalade with the 6L80E and probably a 14 bolt full floating rear axle. This one needs to handle like a Pro-Tourer and tow like a 3/4ton. I'll be pulling an enclosed car hauler weighing in at about 8,500 lbs. I'll be doing a lot of reinforcing. The exterior and interior will appear bone stock but secrets will be hiding everywhere.

I hope to make friends here and get a bunch of help as well as help others. You can check out the two rides at these links...
