An opportunity just came up for me to get the 67-69 Camaro Heidt's 4 Link Bolt-in kit for about the same price as a good quality multi-leaf spring and conversion kit. My plan is to install this at the same time I replace my 10 bolt with a Ford 8.8" from a late model Explorer in the near future. The plans for this car is to be a solid weekend warrior that I can drive anywhere. No drag racing, slicks, or autocross. But I do want to be able to beat on her when I'm in the mood.

I've been reading here that bolt-in kits are not as good as weld in, but I don't plan to push the car that hard. I also read that a good leaf setup is equal to a 4 link, but in this case, the price is about the same. Does anyone have any feedback about the Heidts kit?

Here is a link to the kit I'm looking at (it's at the bottom of the page)

I am tempted to buy this system. It is hard to beat it for the money and like you said, you can get into one of these 4 links for about what you can do a nice leaf and good shocks. I have seen some people express concern about the length of the upper arms.

ibuildm,
Can you post up the length of the upper arms for a second gen f-body. I would like to compare it to other systems like the G-bar/Prodigy Bar.
