So I bought this car about three years ago with the intent of just making it into a daily driver. I was out of town when I bought it and a co-workers wife delivered it to my house. I fired it up, and she leaked like a sieve, so I figured I'd do a quick refresh and get it to daily driver status. I build the motor and tranny about 2 years ago, and decided to make a few "modifications" after finding out that these cars dominated road racing back in 60 and 61, I figured it would be cool to do a retro racer build, since it already had plenty of patina. Intake, carb, headers, cam, bumped up the CR, electronic ignition and I've just been plunking away at it little by little when time and money allowed. So I finally fired it up this weekend, had a little bit of a heater core leak, so I put a towel under the dash, and then at minute 18 of the 20 minute break in, a pinhole leak in the brazing on my referb'ed radiator (done locally about 2.5 years ago). SO tomorrow morning I'll be dropping the heater core and the radiator off to them and I'd like to have this thing registered and road worthyish by the end of the week.
