I have a 99 Vette LS1 I am putting in my 68 Camaro. The engine has the stock Drive-By-Wire throttle body but didn't come with the pedal or TAC. I would like to keep it DBW for the cleaner looking install. I have read what I can find on this site related to DBW but still not 100% clear on what pedal and tac I should be buying for the stock throttle body. The vette ones are very expensive (because its vette). Can I get a truck pedal and tac to work and what computer would I need as well to go with it all? I am waiting to get all the correct parts before ordering the wiring harness and purchasing a programmed computer.

I used a truck pedal for mine, I think monte carlo pedals are suppose to be an easier install though. For the TAC module I would call speartech or someone and ask which one you need for your PCM. And buy it off amazon or somewhere else. I paid $150 with shipping for my TAC module off of amazon.

edit: didnt see that you don't have a computer. The TAC module will depend on what PCM you will get, so I would get the computer first.
