I had fun with a '74 Dodge Monaco ex-cop car with a 400 in it as a teenager.
(Some of that fun went out of owning it though when I found out I could have had a 440 if I looked harder. )
Interested in hearing about others experiences with ex-cop cars that came from the factory with big blocks.

Well now they never made a big block in what I am building.
But I am building an 84 Caprice 2dr, intend to redo it into a handling champ and use a big block 402 to make this car run.
Since the Caprice can be and has been cop car, while i have a 2dr I am confident I can make it run hard with air ride suspension, my big issue is the 402 is simply my old engine. Maybe it can be freshened up in winter months, I just hope it holds up for now and untill the cash flows for the air ride I will swap in police car parts. I learned a long time ago how to reset coil spring ride height with out damaging to spring rate. so we will see.
also since Kore 3 has the adapters I will up grade the brakes to Corvette C6/Z06/Z51 big brakes, and found a place making 18 in Corvette black split 5 spokes to clear the brakes till I get cash up for more complex wheel combo.

I had a few Dippy Cop cars back in the early 90's, my youngest brother is still driving one of them ( 400K miles on it ). The other one got wrecked when a friend was using it. Had a ton of fun racing 5.0 stangs with it back then, I had a nice small block in it and good shocks, a bigger front sway bar and 11.75" front disks firm feel streering box ect.
