One lap of Buttonwillow.. This was shot from my friends car (Poltergeist) and my car is the pewter Camaro in front.. gotta remember to take off the rearview mirror next time..

Actually I just noticed this is the first lap.. which is slower (warm up lap).. still cool to see the full track layout :)

Car had lots of suspension mods and 6-piston front Wilwoods.. the yellow corvette in front of me is the Centerforce Corvette with a magnacharged ls1.

Nice vids. The lap at Buttonwillow looked like it was slow though. Ehhh.... Maybe it's just me. I can't wait to see the cars there in July.

Ahhhhh....Carlsbad. The memories of home, and the track of no traction.

It always seems faster when you are in the car.. lol.. Besides, I was stuck behind that slow C5.. ;)

I just watched it again.. it is the first lap of the set so it is the warm up one.. no wonder it seems a bit slow :pat:

On the actual go fast laps you can't see me in the film since I move farther away.. I will mount a camera in my car next time.. Still fun to see the track layout..

Even though it was a warm up lap that is still cool Steve. I am going to use that link in the other thread "How about some slalom or track pics. Cars in action"
How did you mount the camera? I am going to make something to mount mine to.

Actually the camera is in Robs car.. mine is the one in front.

It was mounted on a tripod in the backseat and we used tiedowns (3) to hold the tripod in place.

For the 68 I have a rollbar mounted camera mount :)

Yea, and if you fasten the rear seat belts and pull them tight then they make great anchor points for the tie downs.. :)
