It will only spark sometimes. Only if its keyed to start continuously, then it will eventually start running. It will barely start up then will saty running. Sometimes it almost sounds like its going to start but it doesn't. edit: before it would start up every time like its suppose to.
Does anyone have any idea why it would act like this?

Did this just happen recently or a new build. *thanks for the edit.

My 65 Buick was the same way. No IGN power from the ignition switch. The power should come from your starter, yellow wire that is connected to the "res" terminal. This gets full Bat+ while cranking. It was to bypass the resistor wire and provide Bat + to the coil during start up to keep the points from burning up.

could be your yellow wire circuit or starter.

2nd edit....didn't see your sig line. What harness do you have?
Maybe more vehicle information is needed.

Are you running a factory style ECM? If so, I would check your fuel pressure at the manifold....if the ECM doesn't see the correct pressure, it won't fire. I want to say 47-53 psi but I could be wrong. What kind of fuel tank are you using? I glanced through your pics but didn't read up too much...very clean install though-I like it!

it has a spectra tank with internal fuel pump and a vette filter fuel pressure regulator. The harness is a truck harness and it is a factory style ecm. We are going to check the fuel pressure next. Thanks for the suggestions.

The fuel pressure is at 60 when the pump primes then it drops down to 48. Should it stay around 60psi?
