Ok I bought a 1998 camaro complete ls1 that has become a door stop..... I found a 2000 vette motor I can get...
My question is what will swap over to the other motor to make my swap work.... Other thing I ready paid to have the 98 harness and ecu reflashed and reworked....

(also found a iron 6.0 block could the ls1 heads work on this block any info would help)

Everythign is interchangeable between the camaro and vette motors. What you have to worry about is how it will fit in your swap. IE In my swap the I couldn't use the camaro accessories with out notching my frame but the vette accessories worked. Generally, the big difference between the 6.0 and both vette and camaro 5.7 engine is that the placement of the accessories, oil pan, intake, cam, size of harmonic ballancer, and the 6.0 has larger displacement and weight but same form factor.

The 98 heads will use perimeter bolt valve covers, GM swapped to center bolt in 99.

The 6.0 should have 317 heads if it is a LQ4 or LQ9 which flow better than the LS1 heads but they have bigger chambers.
