Finishing up a LS1 swap in my Chevelle. Thinking about running the Dash DAQ to replace all of the traditional guages in my car. It monitors off of the motor's computer. Anybody tried it yet?

I looked into it but decided against it due to the size of the screen. If it had some kind of feed to put a bigger monitor I would use it but 4.3 is just way too small for everything. I used the Pioneer unit instead but even that was expensive and limited. But it looks cool. <g>

Thanks. If you really want to get into something neat and have LOTS of time, check out www.mp3car.com (http://www.mp3car.com) specifically this link. http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/engine-management-obd-ii-engine-diagnostics-etc/ . For screen OBDII setups, it's the way to go. Maybe someday when I have more time.

I'm headed that direction, though I have a bit of work to do. I've written my own software to display any number of gauges and metrics.

just run labview and a monitor, very easy.
