I'm narrowing down my choices for a suspension setup for my '67 El Camino. I spoke with Frank from Prodigy Customs, and he turned me on to Speed Tech's products as a lower cost but still high quality option for a full coil over setup for A-body cars. My objectives for my build are to have a very capable handling street car, and probably not a lot of autocross or track time (but I'd like to have the option).

Has anyone here used any of their products and can offer a review or opinion? I'm looking at their "A-body Track Time Suspension Package" -> http://www.speedtechperformance.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=186/category_id=215/home_id=215/mode=prod/prd186.htm. Front and rear coil over conversion, control arms, front and rear sway bars and some other bits for $3600 list. Seems like a good deal to me, but I don't know about the quality and performance.

Thanks for the help.

I run Speedtech's setup on the front of my car (Uppers, lowers, sway bar, coil overs and spindles)---and would love to setup the rear with their torque arm setup. I can attest that the car handles very well and rides even better. I've had absolutley no issues with their products and would highly endorse their stuff. You will be very pleased with the outcome, I have no doubt. Please feel free to PM me with questions --I can shoot you my phone # also if you have questions.

They get great reviews. I finally saw their products at SEMA last year. Their stuff is awesome. My favorite feature is the rear control arms with the rotation point in the middle of the arm.
