What a absolute perfect day at the track. Weather couldn't have been any better. A LOT of great cars. Here are some photo's and vids I took of the event. I have a lot more photo's and some more short vids than what I posted below so if anybody there running would like some photo's of thier rides let me know and I will email them to you. If you don't see your car below I still may have photo's of it.

I was driving Alberts car. I spent a few weeks in Toronto building the engine and redoing the exhaust and under hood wiring as well as fixing the clutch Z-bar. I wanted to see how the car looked going into the corners.
From the pics I have seen it still has postive camber going through the turns. It felt like it was pushing.

I was there by myself, so I was running around. Sorry, I don't have any pics to contribute. I think the only pic I snapped all weekend with my phone was of the "Flying Turd" decal on the back of Schwartz's Vega.

Sorry I couldn't stay the rest of the weekend. It was great to see everyone again. A huge thanks to Scott/Steve Lenning (slenning) for letting me drive his modified 2010 Camaro on the cruise (God was that thing fast). I don't know, someone said his name was Steve, then he corrected me and said it was Scott but then I just looked at his signature and it says Steve. I think y'all are messing with me. LOL! Anyway that was really cool of him and it was much appreciated.

Thanks for all the pics and videos Buddy, only makes me regret more that I couldn't stay. See you at Woodward in August.

Since we had 2 other shows last weekend in Minnesota and Kentucky, I had almost decided not to go until around 4:00 Friday afternoon. Todd Green from Firestone was here that afternoon and had not been to one of these events so we loaded up and headed north. So glad I did...it was a blast as usual, especially since I didn't haul home a CARcass this year!
Also...the Firestone guys had a great time...they'll be back for sure. They had an 04 Corvette for this trip but are working on a 69 Camaro with our RideTech system on it. Look for it at RTTH in Sept.

Anyone got shots of the charger carnage? Feel free to post if you do, this is reality, things go wrong sometimes. BTW, we got home just fine with it. 1515 total miles, some more abusive than others..haha The only real issue was the wiper motor decided to stop, and with the storm we encountered in Indy, that was not a good thing. Thank goodness for Rainx.

Mark was driving at the time. We had a brake knock back issue on the front and no brakes going into a major turn. I was passenger, wild ride but no real damage. Ruined a tire that had debeaded. Got it back together though and no more issues so all is fine. Drove the car home, ordered ZR1 hubs today, should solve any future issues.

Hi Tony it was great meeting you at Motorstate, wish you could have stayed longer. Anyway to set the record straight, that was not my 2010 that you drove, it did belong to Scott (but I don't remember his last name sorry) We both had gray 69 Camaros there so thats probably how the confusion started.

Anyway I thought I should set this straight before my wife heard that I let someone drive my girlfriends 2010 (thats the way I heard it) to the cruise.:lmao::lmao:

ouch, just an fyi - the zr1 (skf) hub extends the service interval, but they still fail. Vette guys are still changing them regularly. Have you run the car a lot with slicks?

I should have the new zr1 hubs tomorrow, thanks to Jeff Tate. I understand that I am stress testing the hubs as they were never designed to haul the boat I call a charger and its weight. I have not been on slicks but have had toyo888 at OUSCI last year and KDWs on it for over 6000 miles, both highway and track.

LOL..I watched the video. That was the cool down lap that he caught up with me on. He did have faster lap times than me though. That is running on the ragged edge. And that is doing it with a car he has to drive home. The cars were spaced so that hopefully they get clean timed runs with no interference from other cars. That is a fearless driver...

Just had to have a little fun with you Charlie! (sure you lifted...) :) I kept watching the car in the distance and everyone must have been pretty close in that group for no one to run up on another car in a 8 or 10 minute session is pretty unusual. I've had guys I lap in a 20 minute session. (and have been on the other end of that too with a full race car out in the run group with street cars)

I am not fearless. The gas was stuck!!!!!:) I had a hard time catching Charley even on the cool down lap, That is why it look like it is at speed. I just thought it would be cool to pull up along side Charley and give him the thumbs up. It was a huge honer to be on the track with such good people and machines.
I am still amazed at how much fun I had that day. Randy

The last 19.9 miles is what left the clean spot at the top, lol. I was getting rid of sand that was hiding when I pulled the clutch out.

I would still go back to the dunes but the minute the sky looks threatening and the wind is up I'm out of there like Charlie and Mark did before it all hit.

I wanted to be sure and get it in action and post it so you would be able to see your car in action.

Those videos came from my camera I have more from my video camera that I have not downloaded yet so maybe more to come!

Was great to see you and your car going round the track.
