The most insane induction system ever. I've seen some shade tree engineering in my day. But this guy takes the cake.

Those are aluminum valve covers as plenums up there.

and yeah. that's a diamond plate plenum under the injectors. And a blower under that.

Did you watch it explode?

I'm not sure if I'm looking at a tuned length and pressure equalized intake, or a bicycle rack that someone hung some airfilters on ....

sadly, I didn't get the chance. It runs. There's carbon in the pipes.
He said it's never been in the water and only ran a few minutes.

interesting valve cover intake plenums.

Am I seeing compund-compound charging? Turbo feeding turbo feeding super charger?????

How does one's brain come up with that?!

I bet the intake temps are up there pretty high!:screwy:

I think it needs a few more turbos on it...

Oh hec yeah! Got my board ready! Tie on the rope and pull me!

Maybe we're thinking about this all wrong. We're thinking they use the turbos for manifold pressure... but maybe they're using the exhaust to drive the turbos for propulsion? Turbofans work on airplanes, why not boats? :)

I really dig the PVC water valve that's hangin' on that lowest filter conntected to the turbo pressure side. What the heck it's supposed to do......

Guys be nice.....he scoured all the finest garage sales and dumpsters to put that together.

One of the turbos said "john deer" on it....

I should have snapped a pic of the "center console" that's nothing but a big tribal jagged water jetted piece he made two inches from his where his leg goes. If the slightest thing goes wrong he's mangled, badly.

I've heard that he's had this setup for years. Trailers it out to the big boat meets at Camp Far-west lake, sits there, and lets people ooh and ah over his contraption. But never fires it.

Maybe its a folk art piece?

At long last, "Pro Street" is making a comeback. That's got Rick Dobberton's name all over it from the 80's (remember the twice turbo'd injected 6/71 blown nova)? Then came the front wheel drive Pontiac J2000? Same motor setup I believe---that was da bomb back then---I just ain't feelin it anymore---unless it works and makes 3000 HP--which it should since it has 4 fabricated aluminum valve covers on it--
