So, anyone have any favorites? I cheer for a lot of teams, but here are the ones I'll be rooting for the most this year.



GT2: #63 Corvette
GT1: #50 Saleen S7R (yes, someone is still running an S7R!)
LMP2: #28 Radical SR9
LMP1: #7 Audi R15


This is the last year that the GT1 category will be run. Without some of the bigger teams in GT1 (now in GT2), it's hard to tell who will win. Peugot is dominating so far, but nothing is certain. There really are no teams that are "sure to win" this year.

#64 GT2 Corvette got hammered. Their pit crew is on a rampage to get it fixed.

:crying:They got it all patched up after losing about 8 laps and falling to 7th at one point. They were right back on pace and seemed good but then got smoke out the sidepipes . . . something very wrong. The 64 is out now. #63 is too far out to win. Now I'm really cheering hard for the S7R.

Anthony Davidson let me down there. I tend to think his commentary on the F1 in the UK is pretty good, but that crash was entirely caused by his impatience.

The LMP1 cars are too fast to risk going on the inside of a different class car like that. It's not something the corvette driver could have seen in time to take action against.

Corvette was robbed. :(

The main thing is they'll be back next year (probably with more restrictors lol) and no doubt be at the front for most of the weekend. Amazing cars....always were in GT1 too.
