Anybody have some creative ideas on where to put/hide a battery besides in the trunk? I want to remove some frontend weight without having to put in the trunk. Anybody put a battery somewhere besides a trunk or on the usual battery tray in the front? Thanks!

Probably won't work for you, but the smuggelrs box in an Elky works great.

Have you thought about putting under the back seat like an Oldsmobile Aurora (pardon the spelling if it is wrong)? Just a thought.

On both cars there is an area that was taken up by the stock muffler and exhaust pipes. If you are using a different style of exhaust you will have plenty of room to mount an Oddessy dry cell or some brand that is similar and run a set of leads into the trunk in case you need a jump.

Putting the battery in the place mentioned will keep it lower and in close proximity to the axle which is a good place to put weight.
