As an Alabama fan, it is nice to see somebody else get thumped. Especially when their has been so much written about their violations. I think they will probably fall victim to the "repeat offender" status in the next few years too as Kiffin draws far too much negative attention and pushes the envelope. It can take years to recover from going before the NCAA, again, as a 'Bama fan, I have seen it happen. It seems like after you have been hit with penalties you are forever on their radar.

Pete bailed so he wouldn't have to talk. If he was still an NCAA coach he'd have to talk to the NCAA. But, since he's an NFL coach he can't be touched/questioned, unless he wants to talk.

One of the worst part of these penalties is with the bowl ban USC is now fair game to be poached by any team in the country. Players can leave to play for another team with NOT penalty or waiting period. If they are a junior and want to play for UCLA they can transfer today and play tomorrow.

The clock is also ticking on how long it will take Lame Kitten to screw up and cost them the death penalty.

I am with you on this one. Kiffin is almost guaranteed to get them into more trouble in the next few years. I don't think the NCAA is going to give out the death penalty anymore. It is just my opinion, but I think that the upper echelon schools in college football generate too much revenue for the NCAA and television for them to put a program like that down.

That's the truth spoken right there! :lurk:
