Hello,
I thought I would take a moment to introduce my HotRod. I have owned it for 18 years. I did sell it to my brother for a couple years. The deal was that he could not sell it to anybody else. I bought it with 31,000 miles, it now has 44,000 miles on the body, much less on everything else.
The body: Saleen wing and SVO fender flares. I am making big cooling ducts in the rear flares. I'm not sure if I am going to use the cooling ducts for the rear brakes or for oil and trans fluid coolers yet. I'm still tinkering with it. I installed the roll cage 17 years ago. It is a jegster kit (bent pipes that you have to fit up). I just bought the paint (Jet Black). I hope to be able to find the time to finish the body work and paint it this summer.
The engine: .060 over 460 with forged pistons, Dove C heads, roller rocker arms, crane 292 camshaft, offey intake holley carb, MSD 6AL, Ford Motorsport/MSD Dist., Griffin aluminum radiator.
Tires and wheels: I had 16" X 8" Centerline billit wheels on it forever with 255/50-16 tires. I just bought the Shelby wheels a few months ago. They are 22" X 9.5" American Racing Shelby torque thrust M with 255/30-22 tires. I wanted to keep all the tires the same size to be able to rotate them. You know the problem, the front end cups the tires the rear end smokes the tires. I am able to keep them smooth that way, lol.
Suspension: The front springs are from a 1993 Mustang Cobra, the rear springs are Ford Motorsport M5300 C. The sway bars are Ford Motorsport parts.
I posted a picture in the my garage section. Thanks for checking it out.
