Very mean looking...what wheels did you go with...size and BS? I assume you took into account the lowering factor when you ordered them up?
Looking good so far!

Thanks for the positive remarks. LSX is correct. I did take into account the lowering. I got the specs from another '68 Bird owner. 5x4.75 18x8 +2mm (4.517") and 18x9.5 -4mm (5.031") .

Thanks all! Just my luck, looks like I'll be replacing my motor sooner than I expected. I think it's toast. After just buying the wheels & tires, it'll probably be a few months. Dang it! Oh well, time to go 455 or stroked 400. A blessing in disguise?

Got the itch and started the motor tear out last night. Worked til midnight. Got everything diconnected/removed except the motor mounts, tranny bolts and starter wiring. Haven't done it in a while, so I forgot how much fun a tear down could be!

That looks bad@ss. They look great on your car. Give me some shots in the Florida sunshine. Once you drop it, it will look even better.

Ok people, do not pay attention to the price. Look at the information.

I was going to run the 338's with Nitto Nt 05.Love the black center and polished lips. The total cost was $1350 for everything. Couldn't beat the price. US made and good looks. I got a screaming deal on a used set of Rushforth and Nitto 555's so I changed my mind..
