I have a pretty stock 400SBC.
I have a aluminum intake and a 625 Demon carb. Doug's tri-y headers. thats it.
How can I get a little more power? 350HP would be nice.
Heads? if yes, what type?
Cam? if yes, which one?
Roller rockers? if yes, which ones?
other?
I see a lot of packages for the SBC350. Do these parts also fit my SBC400?

How much you got to spend? A set of heads and cam will shoot you well past the 350HP range

With a 400CID SBC you can get to 450-500 all day long. But like Frank said, How much do you want to spend.
When I worked at a machine shop in college they had a sign above the counter, It said:
"Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?"

We can do heads / cam / intake for very close to your budget.
Is it a manual tranmission or automatic?
Do you know ANYTHING about the motor? Year? What pistons would be GREAT! if you do not know what pistons you have we need to pull the heads and see if there are any numbers on them. Or send me a pic at least so we can coose the right Combustion Chamber head for you

Pick up a set of AFR 195's and a matching solid flat tappet cam and your gonna have fun! You will pick up over 100HP no problem.
