It's time to find a hotel for the weekend. Who's all going and where do you plan on staying? We need a pool for sure and clean rooms. Last time I think we were downtown near the river somewhere.

I will be trailering the car up there, then driving from the hotel to the fairgrounds. Distance isn't an issue.

I just stay at home LOL
Since you said pool I am assuming your bringing the family so this is a great place and MOA is right next door for some shopping.

i always stay by the mall of america in Bloomington...the Holiday Inn has nice rooms and a pool and hottub ...it usually appeals to the females since its by the mall...they can shop...while you spend the whole day at the show!..its about 20min ride to the fair grounds from there

I will look into the mall area. Need a pool for the 8 yr old. He's only gonna be contained for so long before he snaps.

What about the Days Inn on University? anyone staying there?

This place is newly renovated (2009) and my parents stayed here for Car Craft last year. They said very comfortable beds. Really nice place. Looks like a decent pool. Was a reasonable rate. For sure nicer than the Days Inn.

This is off 35W from the fairgrounds pretty much. Convenient. You would have plenty of room for a trailer.

They added on to the Water Park Of America (Radisson hotel connected) and it looks tempting. Bring cash, lots of it.

Stay away from the Radisson in Roseville. It is a pit.
