Looks good. Does need a spoiler (the Trans Am version, not the Camaro).

Agreed, the Trans Am spoiler would look best.

I love the smooth trunk but it isn't exactly balanced with the monster cowl hood. IMO, you are one smooth hood away from perfection.

Thanks for the honest replies. I agree about the hood. It was purchased on ebay for cheap. I was trying to make the front end appear shorter by making the hood taller. I also run the car with a 400 hood, but I really think a T/A hood would look the best. The rear spoiler was removed just to see what it would look like. I kind of like it, just because it is different. I have a few other changes I want to do to the exterior including a twist on the typical adjustable rear spoiler. I also plan on a complete redo and color change this winter.

Making the front appear shorter goes against the natural proportions of a ponycar which were purposely given long noses and short rears to give them their timeless proportions that made them so well loved in the first place and while maybe successful in making it look shorter, it also makes it way taller which isn't visually positive and shortening the nose isn't either from a styling standpoint. Not telling you what to do, just speaking from a design perspective. Smooth, Formula or T/A hoods would all be way better looking options and help you see what your right tire is running over too! lol

You wouldn't try to shorten the nose on a Ferrari 599 or McLaren SLR, would you? Same timeless proportions for the same great reason. It looks cool!

If I sound passionate about it, it's because I really like the red with white Grand Sport stripes and the smooth trunk. You're really close!

I agree with Jason, partly because he's a designer. I wouldn't add the rear spoiler. You painted out the rear bumper, perhaps to hide it or so it wouldn't take away from the rest of the lines. Is it a 68 piece? Could you tuck it, smooth the bolts? Would a camaro bumper fit with modifications? Do you even need it? Just some thoughts.

If you are going to run that hood, I think it needs to be balanced by a spoiler. The stripes are cool, but I would do them a little thinner

Another vote for the spoiler being put back on. Already a nice car though!!!
